Check your hardware
You’ll need an Apple silicon Mac on macOS 26 or later, an x86_64 PC on Windows 11, or a supported x86_64 Ubuntu Host. On Linux you also need hardware virtualization and systemd. Each Agent computer takes 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of free disk, on top of 6 GB of RAM kept for the computer itself, so a 16 GB computer has room for one. Current packages are on Downloads.
Install Geyser Host
On Mac, open the disk image and move the app to Applications. On Windows, run the downloaded installer. On Ubuntu, install the downloaded DEB package. Then open Geyser Host and sign in with your Geyser account.
Connect the Host to your workspace
Enroll the computer in the workspace that will use it. Then, from the workspace, add an Agent or place one on the Host’s available capacity.
Let the Agent computer get ready
The Agent gets its own separate environment with a desktop, browser, tools, and files. Once it’s ready, open it from Geyser.
Add other permissions only if they help
Sharing the Host’s screen, input control, unattended observation, and secure management are each set separately on the Host itself. You can host an Agent without sharing every part of your own desktop.
Decide where data lives as its own step
The Agent’s computer and your workspace’s Customer Cell are two different things. Moving the data home onto an eligible Host or an enterprise environment is a separate deployment step.
