“I’m in the app whenever you open it, and once Host is installed I can work on your Mac too.”
You can start in the web workspace, with nothing to install.

sudo apt install ./geyser-host-linux-latest-amd64.debsudo apt install ./geyser-latest-x86_64.debOn Linux, Host also needs systemd and hardware virtualization, on top of the hardware requirements above. Once it’s installed, open Geyser Host and sign in with your Geyser account.
Set up a HostGeyser saves each Agent’s memory and pauses them before their computers are deleted, so you can give them a new computer later. Then it removes the Agent computers, the background services, its settings and saved sign-ins, and the app itself.
To remove Geyser Chat, drag it from Applications to the Trash.
Open Geyser Host and choose Uninstall… at the bottom of the window. Like on a Mac, Geyser saves each Agent’s memory first, then removes the Agent computers, the background services, everything Host keeps on this computer, and the package. Ubuntu asks for your password once.
If the app won’t open, you can run the same removal from a terminal. Agents aren’t saved first this way, so remove the computer in Geyser Console afterwards.
sudo /usr/lib/geyser-host/uninstall --delete-unsavedRunning sudo apt remove geyser-host only stops Geyser Host. Agent computers and settings stay on the computer, so reinstalling the package picks up where you left off.
sudo apt remove geyser-chatIncus, Google Chrome and the other Ubuntu packages Host installed stay, in case anything else on the computer uses them. You can remove any you don’t need with apt.
Installing Host gives your Agents a computer to work on. Your workspace’s data stays wherever you chose to keep it when you set up the workspace.
